Echo is an empowering action model to engage youth enrolled in colleges to design, develop and lead the sustainable solutions against the most pressing environmental issue through innovation.

WWF Volunteers’ Echo aims to create Environment Conservation Heroes in colleges across the country through bridging the gap between environmental awareness and conservation action.

WWF-India will provide mentorship, support and guidance for the implementation of the project. At the end of the academic year, a state level summit will be organized in which all the colleges can showcase their conservation action projects and impact made. The colleges with maximum impact will reach and present their projects at a national level youth summit organized at WWF-India, New Delhi.

This will facilitate a sharing of best practices and provide a platform for recognition for the students and colleges.
