Project Description
WWF India is conducting it’s second Vulture Count in most parts of India with the help of the public! This is an event for citizen birders, ornithologists, photographers, field guides who are invited to join the vulture count beginning on International Vulture Awareness Day- September 3rd, 2022. WWF-India is going to conduct vulture estimation program across India through Citizen Science. So pick up your gear, pair of binoculars, cameras, spend some time in nature to help us find vulture presence in your locations and get counting. We will be sharing locations where vulture presence/absence is needed to be verified. Help us being that set of extra eyes in long term monitoring of endangered vulture species in India.
