Project Description
Empowering people to take an active role in the preservation and cleaning up of our coasts are important parts of helping in the conservation of the ocean and its biodiversity. We will be celebrating International Coastal Clean-up Day 2022 on Saturday, 17th September with the Clean Coasts movement – Jallosh 6. It is an initiative of Project Mumbai, a non-profit organisation, and is one of the biggest clean-up drives on the waterfronts of Mumbai. The clean-up activities will take place across 7 locations on Sep 17th from 8:00 AM to 10:00AM Clean-up locations include: Beach stretches along Mumbai’s Dadar, Mahim (Hinduja), Bandra Chimbai, Aksa, Carter Road, Girgaum and Juhu Koliwada. Who can participate: Any individual or group of people who feel passionate towards the cause and are able, can do so.

Picking of plastic and other waste material as part of the clean-up drive.

Items volunteers needs to carry
1) Do reach on time and follow instructions given. 2) Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. 3) Wear cap, sunscreen, sunglasses.
Additional Information
You will be guided to clear and segregate the plastic from non-plastic. Gloves will be provided.
