Project Description
We are looking for volunteers who can help our visitor engagement activities during the Exhibition for Raptors in India placed at WWF India, Bhopal Office (MP&CG State Office). This involved welcoming people on arrival, leading events and activities. The visitors can range from children to seniors, from the field of wildlife conservation to someone who will not have any knowledge about birds. As a Visitor Engagement Volunteer you will undertake the following tasks: • Providing a friendly welcome to visitors when they arrive. • Having conversations with visitors and finding out how you can help them enjoy their visit. • Describing the exhibition, information about birds and their conservation. • Talking to the public about the work of WWF India. • Ensuring the information desk is managed, communication materials are handed out. We will provide full training for this role but you do need to be a ‘people person’ and have good communication skills.
