The project aims to create an inventory of the species diversity at Sanjay Van and also with the help of volunteers who will closely analyse various associations of floral species that will help us to know more about the micro-habitats that exist in Sanjay Van. Based on this data, different types of Forest types and habitats that exist in Sanjay Van will be identified and accordingly presented. A detailed database of species richness, distribution and associations can help us to understand how various species are interacting with one another. This will be a good exercise to build capacity in volunteers in skills such as scientific temperament, citizen science participation, surveying, biodiversity observation and recording.
