Project Description
City Nature Challenge (CNC) is a global urban citizen science initiative, conducted annually and taking place over 4 days from April 26th - 29th this year. It is an inter-city competition that sees participation from across the world, wherein ordinary citizens from registered cities make observations, upload of iNaturalist, vying for top spots in - maximum participation, highest number of observations and diversity of species! This project is an opportunity to become a champion by mobilizing your network to join the CNC 2024. Volunteers will be oriented and trained to roll out CNC in their community or institutions and contribute to the global biodiversity data, which forms the basis of successful conservation planning and action.
