World Elephant Day, observed every year on August 12th, is dedicated to the preservation and protection of elephants. Through this initiative, WWF-India Assam State Office aims to raise awareness about the threats faced by elephants, promote coexistence, and educate communities about the importance of elephant conservation. The project includes outreach, education, and community engagement activities across schools, colleges, and local communities.
