Project Description

“WINGS- Nature Education Program, is an event organised to popularise bird watching and conservation and to encourage the participation of the general public with birdlife as part of Dr Salim Ali Day at the State level. In Kerala, the program will be organised in Kozhikode, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram. The WINGS Thiruvananthapuram 2025 is proposed to be held on Sunday, 14th December 2025 and is organised by WWF-India, Kerala State Office. Eleven teams will conduct birding at different places in and around Thiruvananthapuram from around 6.30 in the morning to the afternoon. Each team will include one or two expert birders, bird photographers and new birders. All teams will gather in the evening by 5:00 PM to share their experiences of the day. They will disperse with a dinner. Further, a report with some proposed conservation actions will be prepared.
