Earth Hour – Switch-Off Photography - Delhi

Climate Change,Environment Education
WWF’s Earth Hour began as a lights-off movement in Sydney in 2007. Over the years, it quickly spread around the world to become the biggest grassroots movement for the environment. Today, people from 190+ countries and territories switch off non-essential lights to show support for the planet and to raise awareness about environmental issues. As a volunteer photographer for Earth Hour 2026, you will be deployed to key monuments and landmarks across Delhi to capture the symbolic switch-off. Your images will help document this global moment of unity and inspire more people to take action for the planet. Selected photographs will be featured on WWF-India’s social media platforms and may also be picked up by print and digital media outlets. Through your lens, you will help tell the story of how a simple act—switching off a light—can spark a powerful movement for our planet.
