Project Description
The City Nature Challenge is a global event where cities worldwide compete to record the most observations of nature, find the most species, and engage the most people. For 2026, we aim to document the rich biodiversity of Andhra Pradesh state, using the iNaturalist app. Volunteers will participate in observing and recording various species, contributing to a global citizen science initiative.

Volunteer Task
Volunteers will observe and document wildlife species in their assigned areas using the iNaturalist app, contributing to science

Basic smartphone photography, familiarity with mobile applications (training will be provided)
Minimum Age requirement

Items volunteers needs to carry
Smartphone with iNaturalist app installed, notebook, pen, water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection
Additional Information
Training sessions will be conducted in April to familiarize volunteers with the iNaturalist app and observation techniques.
