Project Description
The City Nature Challenge is a global event where cities worldwide compete to record the most observations of nature, find the most species, and engage the most people. For 2026, we aim to document the rich biodiversity of the Assam/NE region, including all districts, using the iNaturalist app. Volunteers will participate in observing and recording various species, contributing to a global citizen science initiative.

Volunteer Task
Volunteers will observe and document wild species (biodiversity around) of their assigned areas/backyard using the iNaturalist

Basic smartphone photography, camera (optional) familiarity with mobile applications(training will be provided)
