The SAIM Coimbatore project is a holistic initiative aimed at strengthening integrated solid waste management systems in Coimbatore district. The project focuses on baseline assessments, infrastructure strengthening, community engagement, capacity building of local bodies, and promotion of sustainable waste practices. Volunteers will support awareness generation, field-level implementation, data collection, documentation and reporting to improve waste segregation, reduce plastic leakage, and enhance environmental and social compliance.
