Project Description
World Environment Day 2026 is being celebrated by WWF-India, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh State Office (MPCGSO) to promote environmental awareness and community participation in conservation activities. The programme includes an exposure visit to a Waste Collection and Segregation Plant to understand scientific waste management practices, followed by a Wetland Clean-up Drive and Plantation Activity to support wetland conservation and enhance urban biodiversity. Through these activities, volunteers will gain practical knowledge of environmental challenges and contribute directly to local climate action and sustainability efforts.
